Ordinary Time

How do I grow in faith? With the momentum of Lent, Easter and Pentecost over, I find myself stuck in the vast green desert of Ordinary Time, with no marker on the horizon of which way to go. Perhaps I am meant to wait, to be still, to receive–but that is not my nature.

To guide me in this time, I take inspiration from my old college motto that knowledge is the support of faith. Perhaps my way to be still is to study. I have the germ of an idea to study some part of Scripture–to focus and immerse myself–and grow in faith and knowledge through reading, reflection and exchange. Now to decide which path to take…
