At Play with the Lord

Business travel has always acted as a mini-retreat for me: away from the norm, periods of intense focus and relaxation, no technology interruptions, and overall a time of reflection and renewal. Actually, many times following a trip to California or Arizona, I would meet up with my spiritual director in Tucson and go on retreat.

Over the years, I found the most important part of a good retreat was to relax and unwind. Since I’m headed to Anaheim, a visit to Disneyland will have to substitute for the Sonoran Desert.

The first stop is my all-time favorite ride, “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
