News Flash!! Lesbian Worms!

Altering a gene in the brain of female worms changed their sexual orientation, researchers said yesterday, making female worms attracted to other females.

The study in the journal Current Biology reinforces the notion that sexual orientation is hard-wired in the brain, said its authors.

(This “can of worms” picture represents a lesbian worm potluck, complete with lovers, ex lovers, ex lovers of current lover, girlfriends, goumadas, fantasies, crushes and past crushes, each intertwining with the others, straining to reach the object of her desire.)

After I looked at the gross can of worms, I am happier than ever that my Girlfriend is a good cook and doesn’t cook out of cans. (AND she added her comment: And she doesn’t have a “past.”) Mary

It is a gross picture…even for someone who likes to fish, like me. Growing up, I spent many a summer day in Vermont going out with a pack of kids to fish for brook trout. We would stuff worms in red Prince Albert tobacco tins. Every time I see those tins at yard sales it reminds me of daydreaming by the gurgle of a pristine mountain stream. Love to you both, Karen
