Ancient Lovers
We have been bombarded by the “embracing skeletons” since they were discovered last week. Of course, such a discovery could only happen in Italy! Or possibly France!
Writers are assuming they are a young man and woman, but the archaeologists have been more circumspect, saying the sex of the pair has yet to be verified.
Wouldn’t it be delightful if the loving couple was discovered to be two women or two men!
