For his book “A Year of Living Biblically” author A. J. Jacobs grew a long beard, eschewed shellfish and even stoned adulterers. “I’m Jewish the same way Olive Garden is Italian,” Jacobs said. “But I got interested in religion and decided to dive head-first and live the Bible.”
